Newtown Woman Killed In Two-Car Crash

A 37-year-old Fairfield County woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the area.

Pamela Sheehan, of Newtown, was killed around 3:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, during a crash with another vehicle in Southbury on Southford Road, said the Connecticut State Police.

The crash occurred when Christopher Hannan, of Southbury, was driving a Peterbilt Conventional 330 northbound when he collied with Sheehan's Toyota, which was traveling south, state police said.

Sheehan, 37, of Newtown was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Officer Brianna Critelli of the Southbury Police Department at (203) 264-5912.
